Tim Scruggs Goncalo alves not so sneaky Pete. Black joint collars and butt cap were added, as well as a Hoppe ring. The shaft is badly warped, maybe unplayable. The handle has a small roll like a lot of older Scruggs sneakies. With a straight shaft this could be a decent playing cue.
I was told that the cue was sent to Tim for refinish. I can't believe Tim would let it leave the shop in this condition. The ad for the cue read as follows:
"This Pool Cue was sent to Tim Scruggs to be reconditioned, and never played with since. The shaft is warped but Moori tip has never been chaulked."
I never checked the cue thinking that Tim would make sure it was right. That will not happen again. My loss is your gain.
